You need to put your time in. You need to write, every day. In some cases, being able to produce a high volume of quality content in a short period of time might even be necessary.
* Be ready for rejection. Arguably, there is less rejection in freelancing online than there was in traditional print freelancing. Still, you aren't going to land every client, and sometimes your work will be rejected. By preparing yourself for this, you will be more able to rebound after it happens.
